Congratulations

Mrs. Godzisz gave birth to George William on 19^th March. He weighed in at a healthy 9lb 3oz and is now at home, fit and well, as are Mum and Dad.

End of term arrangements

The final assembly for KS1 children was this morning and was a colourful and enjoyable occasion with all of Year 1, assisted by the rest of KS1, performing brilliantly. Well done to them and the Year 1 team. The Easter bonnets looked superb and had clearly involved a lot of hard work at home. The KS2 assembly will begin at 1.15 p.m. tomorrow and will end just before school closes for the Easter holiday at 2.30 p.m. We reopen on Monday 19^th April at 8.50 a.m.

School hours

As the lighter mornings are approaching it is a good time to remind parents that children should not be at school before 8.40 a.m. as the school is not responsible for their safety until then.

Volunteers

A reminder that with Arts Workshops and school trips next term that we will be needing many volunteers to work in school. Each person will need a CRB check (Criminal Records Bureau) and this can take 6 weeks to arrange. If you would like to act as a school volunteer, please let school know.

Tewkesbury in Bloom

There will be a Quiz Night on 10^th April at the Watson Hall from 7.30 p.m. to help raise funds. Details in the entrance hall at school.

E-Safety & Cyber-Bullying

There will be a one-hour talk at Tredington School on Weds 19^th May from 7.30 p.m. It will be non-technical and will aim to make you aware of the risks and safety concerns on the internet. WE hope to run a similar meeting here at school later in the Summer.

E-Gloucester Grammar Schools

 On behalf of the seven Grammar Schools, “ We would be grateful if Year 5 parents who are considering applying when they leave Year 6 please note that the 11+ test is now a month earlier than in previous years on Saturday 9^th October.
