Tewkesbury C.of E. Primary School,
Chance Street,
Tewkesbury,
16th January 2008
Dear Parents
Hopefully the dreadful rainstorms have not caused too much damage or worry – some damage was done at school where the new building work is going on at present but ten buckets in place stopped too much damage.
Congratulations to Kate Hulls, our part-time Special Needs teacher, who has had a baby boy – mother and child are well.
Parents are reminded that the date for registering the names of new Reception children for September 2008 need to be sent to Shire Hall by the end of January.
You are warmly invited to an evening of “light music, prose and verse” which will take place at school on Friday 25th January from 7 p.m. Entry is a £5 suggested contribution to the school’s PTFA funds, payable on the door, and the evening is designed for an adult audience. Further details on noticeboards.
Tewkesbury Abbey is holding a Musical Trail, £1.50 per person, during the mid-term break between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. There will be clues to find and a chance to hear the famous Milton Organ being played. See noticeboard for details.
There will be no Sugar craft club on Friday after school. Mrs Green and Mrs Pugh will fit an extra session in later in the term instead.
Yours sincerely
A.W.Holt.
