i will miss this school and the teachers its a great school

Hello,our names are Ammarah anad Layyah and we go to Widden Primary School.We are working with Miss Todd
who used to work in your school on improving our website. We have just been looking at your webpage and it is fab and we love the little bees and butterflies.We think it is a good idea having a tour page of your school.

I can't believe it's been almost 6 years since I left here, and still so many of my old teachers there. Mrs Green (year one), Mrs Griffiths (year two) Mr Holland (year four) and Mrs Burton (year 6). Not forgetting Mrs Evans (Miss Lumb, as I remember her) who taught me maths, and Mrs Bennett! Miss those drama days. I have so many great memories here, and I hope I will never forget. I still love looking back over my old creative writing and news books, especially from the earlier years. I've just finished my AS exams, and have my fingers crossed for those all important results in August. Wish me luck! Both of my brothers are now attending C of E .

Hello everyone I moved to this school because I was being bullied and now I am here I feel as if I am the luckiest person in the world. My favoroute teacher is mr Howard, he is very amusing. I am in Mr Hollands class, he is a wonderful teacher aswell and there is a helper who is so nice and kind and her name is Gwa Jones.

I have two children at Tewkesbury C of E ( Stacey + Curtis Kent ). Last night I went to the school to watch the centenary performance that the whole school was involved in. I can honestly say that I have never enjoyed anything quite so much as this before. Congratulations and well done to everyone involved and good luck for the next 100 years.

i think the school is wicked because we have great school discos,cool assemblies,fun lessons and lots lots more. i am in year 5 at the momment i cant wait to go up the comp but i will definatly miss the school.the centenary show that we had was really cool.i've had lots of fun so far so keep up the work cofe because its the coolest of cool schools!!!!!!!!!!i like the school lots and lots so yahooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello C of E! I left the school in the summer of 1995. Great to see the School still doing so well, as it was when I was there. I have some lovely memories of being there, all the trips we went on (London in Year 4, Isle of Wight in Year 6, and many more) all the 'topics' we did in various years were fun too. I bet there is not enough time allowed for things like that any more. I am now 22 and working at Pate's Grammar School in Cheltenham running the computer network there. But also I have just started my own fairground business, so if the school ever want any attractions at the Fetes/fairs give me a call!. I was the one to be told off for standing up in the old classrooms that faced Chance Street when the fair came to town, you could see the Big Wheel being built-up from there!
So to finish off, Congratualtions for you Centinery theis year! Keep up the good work.

Hi my name is Jamie, I left Chance Street in 1995, SO MANY YEARS AGO!! I honestly can't belive how much it has changed!! I also cant believe how quickly the years have passed. After Chance Street I went to The Crypt School in Gloucester, then Studied Chemistry at Birmingham University, I am about to move to Cambridge to study for a Ph.D. Thats a lot of years!!

I left Tewkes C of E in '94 - so long ago! It is great to see how much the school has changed and how far it has come, amazing!!
Would like to say a big hello to all the teachers who taught me if you are still there...Mr Fisher, Mr Holland, Miss Crompton...Mr Holt! I went on to do Zoology at Cardiff Uni and am now in Swansea doing a primary PGCE...Who'd have thought!! Often think of you all as I'm on my placements!! Am hoping to head back to glocestershire next year so may try and arrange a visit!

P.S. Mr. Fisher...I carried on with athletics and cross country for many more years-thanks for making me run around countless fields!!

I really liked c of e and it was a shame i left mr fisher was the best teacher i ever had. Hi!!The website is fab as is the school.I attended the school between 1987-1993(i think) and enjoyed my time there.Does anyone remember Mrs Whales and Mrs Stubbs?My brothers and sisters attend the school and they have a great time there.

My twin brother and I went to the original school from 1948 until 1952.

both my children went to CofE and now my grandson is attending. If he does half as well as my children did , then he will do really well. Cof E is renowned for its sports accomplishments, well done to Steve Fisher.

i think the 'Joshua Canale' plaque was a lovley idea not only for pupils but for ex pupils (like me) who new Josh. It is a place people can remember him and also lay flowers. I hope this plague stays at the school forever more so for years to come other people, who didnt have the privilege to know him, can learn about the wonderful person he was.

We are moving to Tewkesbury very soon. This web site is very good and gives an excellent view of the school. Rebecca is really looking forward to meeting Mr Holt and hopefully attending the school in September.

I think this school is great.
All the teachers are very good. Mr Holt is a wonderful head teacher.

As a parent of two children who attend C of E, I am really impressed with the website. It gives an excellent first impression of the school.

I went to this school a couple of years ago and I enjoyed it. i hope everybody has done well.

I really enjoy the comp but i miss my old teachers like miss frith and mr fisher. hi mum in the office. i get alot of home work in the comp and my BCG does not hurt any more, i enjoy doing rugby, football, cricket and tennis. the site is really good and i would like to say hi to miss frith, pat watkins and his friends. i would also like to say hi to all my old teachers. bye!

I think CofE is the best school in Tewkesbury and I like Miss Lumb is the best teacher in the school.

I went to this school from 1979 until 1985 and it was a good school. I enjoyed my time there and if there are any teachers left from when I was there 'hello'

Hi all my names Gemma Green and I left C of E primany school in um.... 1997 i think, so i just wanted to say hi and tell you all that although im nearly 16 now id love to be back there as all the teachers who taught me were so lovely and i hope they stilll are teaching all the new kids who go there now

Hi to everyone at Tewkesbury School. I'm in Year 8 now and I'm looking forward to being in year 9. I going to learn to play the drums and make a group or something with a few of my friends from school. I also want to thank you to all the teachers who have taught me.

Hi I used to go to this school and I really miss it! I now live in wigan! Because I was so good I think the only teacher that could remember me is miss frith! I was in year 6 in year 2000.My second name is smith! say a big hi to everyone for me!

Do I remember this school???
I'm an American whose mother is from Tewkesbury, and yes, we lived here for many years. I had the fortunate experience of attending Tewkesbury CofE Primary and vividly remember my favortie teacher, Mr Wild.

As a former pupil at Tewkesbury C of E school it is nice to see up to date progress at the school. So much has changed since i was there, 1988-1995, hope to be in contact again soon to arrange a visit and maybe some work experience, again!, See the school soon!!

I think our school is ace because in yr 5 you can do hard work and I really enjoy GOLDEN TIME because we can do anything we like for half an hour. I like my old teacher Mrs. Madge as she helps me a lot when I get stuck with something.
