Minutes of meeting

Jade read the minutes and then reported back from meeting with Mr. Holt.

Football- Year 3 and 4 to alternate with Year 5 and 6. S.C. to write a letter to the dinner ladies telling them about the change. Jade and Olivia to ask Mr. Holt if he would have a word too.
Toilet competition- S.C. representatives to go back to class councils and say that they need to design a “Best Toilet” poster.
Tables are old but since they cost £45 each Mr. Holt is going to ask the teachers their thoughts. Each class will need to monitor their own tables. S.C. Reps to ask in class councils.
Outside Equipment- possibility of play area. S.C. to write to PTFA for possible funding. Each class to find out what they would like.
Rope Walk- we want to try and discourage cars. S.C. to draft a letter to parents to see if they can come up with an alternative. Jade and Olivia to speak to Mr. Holt to see if we can possibly extend the time in Cascades’ carpark. S.C. also need to write a letter to Cascades explaining the reason.
Headed notepaper- Jade and Olivia to ask Mr. Holt if this is feasible.
Talent Show- Mrs. Skuse and the PTFA are going to arrange a date. Reps need to go back to classes and discuss the need for limited numbers.
Year 4’s water fountain- Year 4 Reps to take this back to class council and discuss where it could go.

Year 6 wanted a “pool table” club. Reps to go back to class councils and discuss the practicalities of such a club.
Year 5 would like a bigger bike shed and more cleaners- Reps to take this back to class councils and discuss. Mrs. Green and Mrs. Bennett to talk to staff about people staying in the toilets at playtimes and chatting. Year 5 Reps to take back to class council the practicalities of more lessons (like History) and a uniform hat.
Jade and Olivia to see Mr. Holt about thieving from the cloakrooms.
Year 6 want more non-uniform days. Reps to take this to class councils. Jade and Olivia to see Mr. Holt. Mrs. Green and Mrs. Bennett to talk to other members of staff.
Aiden Rothman to see Mr. Fisher about football ‘thing’ near the bike sheds.
Year 5 basketball club- take to class council
Badges to be presented in Assembly tomorrow.
Jade and Olivia to meet with Mrs. Green to discuss posters for “Young People’s Directorate”.
